Over 30 years of acquisition and due diligence experience, Daniel has helped many leading private equity funds and corporates to buy and sell businesses. Since retiring from the partnership at Deloitte, Daniel has had a variety of successful interim roles. As chief due diligence officer in a family office Daniel refined the overall investment process, focusing on governance and effective asset assessment. As part of this Daniel needed to revise reporting structures and deal documentation (term sheets, SPAs), to ensure appropriate risk management. Daniel also personally advised on several transactions including a joint venture with a leading Data Centre developer and operator. In this transaction Daniel secured favourable commercial terms by executing focused due diligence on the partner.
Daniel also led the M&A function in a leading European medical services player where Daniel managed a successful carve out programme.
The majority of Daniel's prior experience has been in strategy consulting and M&A advisory, where he led due diligence teams focused on commercial/operational due diligence and valuation. In the course of this experience Daniel has worked across EMEA and Asia, and has served a wide selection of private equity funds and corporates.
